Nellymoser:Product Marketing Manager

As Product Marketing Manager, you will be charged with a product line contribution and outbound product marketing for Nellymoser‘s portfolio of mobile media solutions. This extends from increasing the profitability, assisting in the development, and packaging of company products. You will assist in identifying and building products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers, network operators and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market with customers to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with product management and engineering counterparts to define product release requirements, develop product documentation and assist in writing white papers. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, contributing to product positioning, key features and benefits, and target customer identification. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

This is a strategic role, requiring you to influence and gain support from other organizations to support corporate strategic efforts.

This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Participation in the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

– Assisting product management in specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.

– Assisting in driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Engineering and Marketing Communications) through market requirements and positioning.

– Developing and implementing go-to-market plans and working with appropriate departments to understand and execute on plan, including marketing, sales and support teams.

– Analyzing and recommending potential partner relationships for the product.

Experience

– 6+ years of software and mobile media marketing/product management experience, specifically in the area of rich mobile media solutions and branded, interactive media applications.

– Demonstrated experience working with mobile network operators, mobile content providers and suppliers of solutions to the mobile media marketplace.

– Knowledgeable in mobile technology and mobile media – trends, technology and key strategic / user groups.

– Computer Science or Engineering degree and related product marketing work experience in the mobile technology and media space.

This position requires approximately 25% travel
