Cablevision swung to a profit for 4Q05, boosted by digital video, telephony and HSD and a strong counterpoint to last year’s Voom-related loss. CVC reported operating income of $212.8 million for 4Q05, compared to a 4Q04 loss of $50.2 million. Net rev was up 12.5 percent to $1.5 billion. Some quick hits:
–The average monthly revenue per video customer exceeded $100 during the quarter.
– CVC more than doubled voice customers to 730,000-plus during 2005.
– HSD subs were up 93,900 (5.9 percent) for the quarter and 341,793 (25.3 percent) for 2005.
