Conde Nast Adds To Mobile Content Portfolio


Conde Nast will launch what sounds like an SMS-advertising service for readers of its flagship publication, GQ. The publisher has teamed up with m-Qube for the service, which is joined by messaging the shortcode GQMag. “Once enrolled, GQ Mobile users will start to receive original content developed for the digital mobile service. It may include information about events, private sales, shopping nights, and giveaways.”
Conde Nast claims GQ has 854,000 subscribers and 4 million readers, so if it can convince a significant portion of that to sign up for the service it looks to reap a lot more advertising revenue. (via Textually)
