Earnings: Loudeye’s Q4 Revs Increases; Losses Double

No, Loudeye is not moving out of Seattle…the company makes is very clear in the Q4 earnings release. Revenue was $8.8 million in Q4 compared with revenue of $5.5 million in Q4 2004, an increase of 61%.

On music, the digital media store services revenue represented $7.0 million of total, an increase of about 90% from $3.7 million in Q4 2004.

Net loss was $10.5 million, compared to $5.6 million in Q4 2004 and $8.5 million in Q3 2005.

Focus going ahead: music services our of UK; encoding services out of Seattle; and mobile music services.
