ACCOUNT MANAGER- Boonty, Inc., NYC

Boonty is a worldwide leader in the distribution of digital games content, with operations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Founded in 2000, backed by prominent venture financing and growing rapidly, Boonty is expanding its U.S. operations and is looking for an outstanding Account Manager to manage/grow existing and future distribution partners. Partners generate revenues through the sale of downloadable media and through placement of advertising in distributed free games content.

The successful candidate will have a background in digital media (music, film, games, etc.) and will have experience in account management, retention and renewal. Key distribution partners include ISP’s, media portals, broadcasters, CPG sites, etc.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Account Manager will be responsible for fully understanding the company’s marketplace and growing existing and future online partnerships in the company’s distribution network. This will include all aspects of partner analysis, communication and general managing of assigned partnerships. Specifically, the Account Manager will:

– Provide consultative marketing support and guidance to an assigned group of partners

– Setting, meeting, and exceeding aggressive revenue goals for each assigned client

– Providing strategic advice in order to increase revenues for both the company and the partner

– Managing internal resources to achieve success for both company and partner

– Careful analysis of internal reporting data to make intelligent marketing decisions to benefit both company and partner

– Knowing and understanding the full capabilities of company internal web-based statistics and implementation tool

B>CANDIDATE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be a Account Management professional, with prior experience in the digital media space. Specifically, s/he will have:

– One to three years of direct marketing experience with a focus on client service

– Demonstrated success in measuring results and setting, meeting, and exceeding aggressive, quantitative goals

– Analytical and strategic marketing skills

– The ability to prioritize and strategize based on company goals

– The desire and ability to think creatively, solve problems, and use professional judgment

– An understanding of and interest in digital media

– Exemplary written and oral communication skills, plus strong presentation skills

– Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Word)

Compensation for the position will be a combination of salary and variable incentive. College degree required; work references will be requested. Generous benefits package offered. Position is New York based with moderate travel required (USA/Canada).
