The ideal candidate will be the online marketing guru for our channels managing advertising, search optimization, grassroots marketing, and analysis of all of these efforts. It is important to be able to target specific audiences, have the ability to strategize as well as execute, and to constantly refine efforts and make recommendations based on analysis.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement the strategic online marketing plans for individual channels as well as the overall MediaZone service in conjunction with the rest of the Marketing and Channel Management team to drive traffic & revenue goals.
– Plan, execute and manage all online advertising campaigns.
– Optimize paid & natural search engine results for individual channels & MediaZone.
– Analyze traffic tracking and media usage applications to recognize user patterns and trends.
– Develop regular reports & recommendations for Marketing & Channel Management to help formulate and improve effective marketing campaigns.
– Utilize online grassroots marketing efforts and other effective tools as needed to achieve marketing goals.
– Work with Creative to develop effective online ad units (static and multimedia) and other materials.
– Collect and analyze data to evaluate existing and potential online target markets and develop best practices to reach them.
– Stay abreast of changes in the online marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly.
Experience:
– At least 5 years experience in ecommerce Internet marketing, in a direct-response, multi-channel consumer-oriented setting.
– Proven success in creating and executing effective online marketing campaigns.
– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
– Experience with entertainment or media marketing a plus.
– Thorough understanding of current online consumer behaviour and available marketing vehicles.
Personal Attributes and Skills:
– Must be extremely well organized and have superior communication skills, both verbally and written.
– Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment with peers and executive levels.
– Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
– Multi-lingual (esp. Mandarin) a plus
