Fanscape is a leading youth marketing agency in the entertainment, technology and advertising industries. We are looking for a senior team member with a “big picture” outlook to manage and grow our partnerships for content promotions and media reach. You must have passion for youth culture and a desire to stay current with trends and technologies. You must be prompt, professional and a good multi-tasker. Most importantly, you must have the vision and character to lead and inspire your department.
Responsibilities:
– Manage, guide and mentor a team of 6-10 people.
– Build promotional and strategic partnerships with brands/products, burgeoning websites and new technology companies
– Expand the reach of Fanscape contests and promotions to drive traffic and awareness for our clients
– Connect independent programs and client projects in order to formulate fully integrated 360 degree campaigns
– Establish quarterly goals and increase effectiveness, reach, and impressions
– Oversee the creative direction and execution of campaigns including the development of viral tools, websites, banner campaigns and other rich media tools to drive traffic and database registrations
Experience Requirements
– At least 4 years of experience leading a minimum of a 5 person department
– At least 3 years of experience with developing cross promotions and/or partnerships in a media or entertainment company.
– At least 2 years of experience in the online marketing space
Required Skills
– Communication. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to forge relationships with everyone from technology CEOs to the webmaster at a skateboarding website.
– Leadership. You must have excellent Leadership skills and be qualified to inspire a group of hard-working young people.
– Understanding. You must have a strong working knowledge of online marketing terms such as open-rates, click-thrus, geo-targeting, and CPMs
– Proactive. You must create and not wait to be guided.
– Organized. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Follow through and deadlines are crucial.
