: You could argue that traffic should be even higher since Athens in 2004 given the spread of broadband, increased interest in online video and the addition of high-profile traffic partners like Google and ESPN.com but the report of 18.7 million page views in the first two days isn’t shabby. (No, I don’t like page views as a measure but I’ll go with it until more metrics are available.) As we wrote the other day, NBCOlympics.com has an unprecedented network this year instead of what once was a fairly insular operation for NBC and its affiliates so those numbers should continue to improve.
