Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, recently appointed President and COO of Nokia, said: “We need to understand content, but then again our strategy is that we are not a content firm. We are an enabler for consumers. The operators deliver that. We make devices that enable consumers to enjoy the content.” Not to mention, of course, the fact that Nokia stealth strategy is to get people to enjoy creating pictures and videos easily on Nokia phones and using that as a sales leverage to reduce churn on the handsets. How many people do you know who are Nokia brand fans for life and rave about how easy thy? There you go… now you’re getting the idea…. ;-)
