MobileAware Makes India Entry; Ties Up With InFact Group For Mobile CRM Solutions

CIOL: Ireland-based MobileAware, a leader in delivery of web content on mobile devices announced that it has tied up with InFact Group, for providing mobile data services in India. The partnership will enable enterprises to extend their CRM systems such as Siebel CRM OnDemand. This would allow companies to provide their mobile field force with sales force automation and business applications and web content on mobile devices.
According to the deal, InFact group will use MobileAware’s content rendering technology to provide customers especially those in financial services, travel and manufacturing industries with a solution to mobilize data contained in their installed CRM systems. “We are targeting business from mobile operators, airlines, railways, banking, utilities, brokerage, pharma and retail. We want to extend the traditional Internet e-commerce services on to mobile devices,” said Kirk Tang, general manager, MobileAware Ltd, Asia Pacific.
He also said that the company would look at delivering transactionable digital media products such as music, ringtones and video to mobile consumers. Initially, the company hopes to tap into InFact’s existing CRM and eBusiness clientele in India and Asia Pacific, such as Hutch and Indian Railways. MobileAware’s customers include American Airlines, Telstra, William Hill, SNCF and China Mobile. The company has partnerships with Intel and BEA Systems.
