CBS: Project Manager (Mobile Games and Application), Los Angeles

CBS is seeking a Project Manager (Games and Applications) for our Wireless Department. The role and responsibilities of this position are listed below:

– Manage day-to-day mobile games and applications development

– Communicate and manage application builds with external vendors.

– Manage the distribution of games and applications both through wireless carriers and off-deck

– Create game and application specs, flows and test plans

– Manage the marketing process including the creation of on-air

– Manage upgrades, rebuilds and additional porting of applications

– Coordinate approval processes, both internal (Standards, Legal, Site Directors, Marketing, Creative) and external (Client).

– Develop reports for internal auditing and monitoring of services

– Organize and utilize assets to be used for additional wireless games and applications

– Act as liaison between Current, Ad/Promo, Technology, Production, Legal, & Marketing

– Create and analyze RFP’s

– Manage forecasting and budgetary issues

Ideal candidate will have the following experience/qualifications:

– Must be extremely organized; detail-oriented

– Must be very creative and able to create and implement ideas

– Excellent client management and communication/ interpersonal skills

– Must be a mobile expert – extremely knowledgeable and on the cutting edge of the newest technologies

– 3+ years’ work experience, experience as a mobile games or applications project manager

– Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn & grow with the business

– Basic understanding of television

– Experience working with wireless carriers

– Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, business writing skills required

– Must be proficient in MS Office

– Ability to work well with Executive team

– BA/ BS in Business or related field required
