In what could be a significant move for a start-up, according to the Journal, Spot Runner has an agreement with Cendant to sell customized ads to the network’s 270,000-plus real estate agents and brokers. The online ad broker will create hundreds of spots for Cendant affiliates to customize at discount rates and place in their markets. Richard Smith, chairman and CEO of Cendant’s Real Estate Services division, expects the TV buys to come at the expense of traditional print media.
