British Telecom has chosen the DRM solution for its mobile TV service BT Movio — it has gone with SafeNet’s DRM Fusion. There is an uphill struggle to get a common DRM standard on mobile phones… Fusion attempts this by being compatible with both Windows’ Media DRM and the OMA standard.
The Movio service will use DAB broadcast technology, and is due for launch sometime this year.
