THQ has released its quarterly results for the three months to December 31, including the official announcement of Doug Clemmer as the President Of THQ Wireless.
From the results, 2.5% of the revenue in the quarter was from wireless games, up from 1.9% a year earlier. If I’ve done my calculations right that equates to $8,945,000 revenue from wireless games for the three months…
For the nine months to dec 31 wireless games accounted for 4.3% of revenue, up from 2.9% a year earlier. It seems that mobile games don’t get the same Xmas boost as other platforms. The absolute revenue value for wireless games for the nine months is $28,315,500.
These figures are based on working out the percentage of the total revenue reported in the earnings.
