NBC U To Redo, Relaunch Stations’ Web sites: NBC Universal is relaunching all of its owned stations’ sites to feature increased video, Web-exclusive content, podcasts and wireless applications. WMAQ Chicago, WNBC New York and KXAS Dallas have already debuted the new format, and NBC’s other 11 O&Os will make the transition over the next several months.

Starcom, PureVideo Ink Video Deal: Starcom is launching a new partnership with the online video entertainment company PureVideo to distribute sponsored free video clips on several Web sites and mobile devices, including the video iPod.

About.com Adds Video Content: About.com is expanding its original video programming in the advertiser-rich area of gadgets and electronics, and in the coming months will boost video content in About Home and About Health.

NBC.com To Stream Unaired ‘Book of Daniel’ Episodes: The network is streaming unaired episodes on NBC.com for the next three weeks. The controversial series was canceled last week after anemic ratings.

IMG and MSN to Stream Fashion Week in NYC: IMG Worldwide is working with both MSN Video and Sprint to bring coverage of ‘Olympus Fashion Week’ live and on-demand. Imgfashionworld.com will be streaming the Bryant Park fashion shows live while MSNVideo.com will be streaming highlights on-demand.

Deutsche Telekom in talks with ProSieben, Premiere, RTL over internet TV: Deutsche Telekom AG is in talks with ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, Premiere AG and Bertelsmann AG’s RTL to cooperate on broadcasting TV shows over the internet.
