Bango: Sales Executive – USA Western Region, Redwood City, CA

Bango is expanding its presence in the North American market, where its partnerships with leading mobile operators and its unique technology enable businesses of all sizes to sell direct to mobile consumers.

Your Activities

– Pro-actively prospect, qualify and close new business opportunities for Bango products and services.

– Manage the complete sales process from lead generation thru close

– Develop and execute territory sales plan

– Follow-up on leads from trade shows, marketing campaigns, and online inquiries

– Develop an active sales pipeline of qualified prospects

– Work with channel partners to help close Bango business

– Maintain necessary prospect and forecast information

– Work closely with marketing and pre-sales support

– Present the Bango propositions clearly, confidently and articulately.

– Sell consultatively, with ‘customer success’ in mind.

About You

Your specific skills must be in sales. We prefer candidates who have experience of business development with new technologies in new markets. Comprehensive experience of the United States market for media and the internet is essential.

– Minimum of 2-5 years of experience selling software or web services

– Target driven with a documented history of exceeding sales goals

– Knowledge and practical experience with mobile content strongly preferred

– Demonstrated excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced technical environment.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– High Energy, well organized, team player

– Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

– Evidence of interfacing with and inspiring corporate customers

– A very high capacity for work and a very keen appetite to win business

– Excellent market knowledge with insightful approach.

– Natural relationship builder with integrity.

– Motivated by the risks and rewards of a small, fast growth company in a new industry sector of massive commercial importance.

– You have unrestricted ability to work in the USA and a full US or European passport

– BA or BS degree

– Comprehensive understanding of the mobile industry, preferably with knowledge of mobile content sales.

– Technology background may include mobile content creation, mobile payment systems or mobile operator experience.

Job Location

– Bango Office California (Redwood City)

– Extensive US and overseas travel will be required
