: Dr. Tom Leighton, co-founder of Akamai, is giving one of the most lucid tech-to-non-tech presentations I’ve heard in a long time. By lucid, he’s taking some of the compex issues of internet traffic and infrastructure to a level that non-techies should not only be able to follow but actually understand why what he’s talking about affects their strategic decisions. Of course, he’s also making a case for relying on Akamai — including a lot of scary talk about security. That’s one of the issues of conferences like this — balancing between explaining something people need to know and a large-scale sales pitch.
