mtvU Mulls More Broadband Distribution: MTV’s college network, mtvU, is edging toward a distribution model that emphasizes broadband distribution over the service’s on-campus presence. Bolstering its online offering is particularly important given the cyclical nature of the academic year, which finds students away from campus for a significant chunk of December and for much of the summer.
