@ NATPE 2006: Mobile ESPN, Mobile TV Take Hits From Analyst

An overlapping schedule for many of the panels makes it tough to stay through every session. I hit Josh Bernoff’s panel Wednesday on making money from “new” screens long enough to hear him confess to not liking the cell phone video experience (“too small” and repurposed clips “aren’t effective”) — and rank Mobile ESPN as the “strangest idea.” His advice: “You need to think about the characteristics of the medium and change what is produced to fit that.” NATPE conference coverage is sponsored by Nellymoser.
