South Korea’s Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute and China’s Beijing Jolon Digital Media Broadcasting have signed “a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB)”…this is intended to facilitate “the sharing of information, technology and content needed to facilitate China’s move toward adopting the DMB service”. Said service is expected to be introduced by Beijing Jolon Digital Media Broadcasting in April, providing two video channels along with traffic and travel information via handheld devices.
