Mobile radio is pretty hot, or so it seems from the discussions at MIDEM this year. Among the new service, Radio DJ from Vodafone, whch we’ve written about before. Vodafone did start the service without getting deals with all four major record labels. Talks are still going on with EMI Group.
Other varieties of mobile-phone radio have been tried and failed to catch on – like Nokia’s Visual Radio – and others are in the works, like Motorola’s iRadio.
Meanwhile, the original Sony Streamman product is being phased out…
