eMusic: Senior Product Manager, Web, NYC

Digital Entertainment Subscription Service is seeking a talented individual to handle product marketing and product management for the eMusic service.

Responsibilities:

– Translate marketing and business requirements into detailed Product Specifications.

– Manage Web and client software projects from inception through launch, working with management, design, editorial, engineering, customer service, and quality assurance teams.

– Serve as advocate for the customer, always iterating product to meet customer needs.

– Manage large-scale Web projects, as well as day-to-day operations of subscription service.

– Plan, conduct, compile, and analyze market and customer research.

– Evaluate, select, and manage technology partners and vendors.

Qualifications:

– 5+ years of product management experience within the online sector. Entertainment Industry and/or eCommerce experience preferred.

– Ability to translate high-level business vision into actionable product requirements.

– Proven track record of delivering high-quality, large-scale online products on-time and within budget.

– Solid understanding of Internet technologies.

– Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

– Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

– Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

– Demonstrable ability to communicate product & marketing requirements to engineering.

– Experience authoring detailed product/market requirement documents for large-scale eCommerce projects.
