I’ll have more from this session later but a little break for the funniest moment so far: Fox Mobile Entertainment President Lucy Hood spent a little time at “Programmer’s Guide to Mobile Messaging” panel discussing some early SMS efforts like “ToddTV,” a reality show featuring a slacker whose actions were determined by audience voting via SMS. Actually, a pretty innovative concept for the time but not a success. Mike Baker, president and CEO of Enpocket, noted that his company handled Todd TV, ruefully admitting, ” One of the most painful parts of it was having to watch the show.”
