China’s Music Downloads To Reach $222 Million

A new report from In-Stat says that by 2008 China’s market for legal online music downloading will reach annual revenue of US$222 million thanks to a reduction in piracy and an increase in third-party online music stores.
In contrast, mobile music — including ringtones — has been predicted to hit US$1 billion by 2007 by Research and Markets.
