We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead its revenue generating efforts for advertising sales. We require an intelligent, dynamic, and experienced online media sales executive to define the advertising sales strategy, rapidly grow revenues, manage and develop a team of selling professionals, and establish policies, practices and procedures that will ensure success in our selling efforts.
The Vice President of Sales will be expected to own and manage the financial targets for the entire advertising selling effort and achieve significant growth in number of partners/clients and revenues.
Overall Role & Responsibilities:
As a member of the senior executive team, the Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the following:
1. Involvement in strategic direction of the company and development of a strategic plan for the company’s sales efforts
2. Create an effective structure and process for selling and managing client relationships, and effectively managing a team of sales professionals
3. Developing a significant base of new clients/advertisers/partners and growing relationships with them
4. Creating viable sales tools, sales materials and offerings for clients
5. Direct involvement with selling into major partners and significantly increasing sales revenues
6. Oversee implementation and account management of campaigns, provide reports to clients, manage billing and collection process, track inventory management system

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, self-motivated, aggressive, strategic sales executive and highly effective manager. Specific required skills:
– Great revenue generator
– Deep knowledge and experience in online advertising and sales
– Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of business concepts that drive marketing decisions of large companies
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Great presentation and negotiation skills
– Significant experience selling into and strong contacts with high level personnel at major consumer brands
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Strategic mindset and creative business development skills
– Highly organized
Educational & Work Experience Requirements:
– A highly developed knowledge base and experience level within online and interactive media
– Experience with other forms of media and targeted marketing
– Graduate degree preferred
– Minimum of 10 years advertising sales/business development experience
