Nicktoons Network: Director of Marketing, NYC

Direct the management and development of marketing plans and advertising initiatives for Nicktoons Network. This would include (but would not be limited to) properties, initiatives, and show launches. Responsible for the development and execution of cross-business marketing programs, on-air events, and consumer and trade advertising and promotional materials, including interfacing with all external and internal resources, ensuring strategic and creative consistency across all LOB’s (lines of business). Provide comprehensive evaluations and recommendations for future property development.

Support General Manager in the development and implementation of strategic plans to grow and promote Nicktoons Network properties, new show launches, and key initiatives across company including: programming, on-air promotions, promotions marketing, consumer marketing, press, consumer products, online and affiliate marketing.

–Direct and manage Nicktoons Network properties providing timely overviews of issues, concerns, initiation plan development and managing deliverables.

– Represent the brand and property POV for any and all cross-business initiatives, ensuring strategic and creative consistency.

–Direct and build on-going systems to capture cross-business activities.

–Direct the management of the TV marketing budget, ensuring effective and economical allocation of resources.

–Find non-traditional means of reaching new diverse audiences in a cost efficient manner.

– Leader with excellent marketing and creative abilities and judgement. Solid organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot and provide successful resolutions. Effective oral and written communications skills. Experienced brand manager.

– Minimum of seven year consumer marketing experience which should include past involvement in the development and implementation of major marketing initiatives including consumer and trade advertising campaigns, promotions, and press activities. Proven track record of providing strategic and creative direction in these areas. Knowledge of new media (wireless, VOD, etc) preferred.

– Experience with a range or research methodologies and the ability to interpret this data

– Experienced manager of staff

– Ability to balance and prioritize numerous key projects
