Icahn Headhunts Board Slate For TW Proxy Fight; So Far, The Nays May Have it

The NYT offers a rundown of Carl Icahn’s efforts to field his own slate in a promised proxy battle against the current Time Warner management. He’s hired an executive search firm and could announce the slate later this month. So far, the list of those reported to have shown no interest includes former FCC chair Michael Powell and former Viacom CFO Richard Bressler. Among the reasons, claims the Times: loyalty, low potential for success and a desire to avoid making waves.
