(M)forma seeks candidates who can contribute the following at the San Francisco Headquarters:

  • Work with product planning teams to define products requirements, including user experiences, Market Requirement Documents (MRD), ROI models, market justifications, and customers’ needs research and competitor analysis.
  • Define, develop and implement product strategy and requirements for (M)forma product development and distribution of mobile content and applications worldwide.
  • Define target handsets and handset priorities buy keeping abreast of manufacturer roadmaps, installed based and EOL strategies.
  • Define, develop and implement product strategy and requirements for (M)forma product development and distribution on leading operator networks worldwide.
  • Define priority operator targets worldwide buy keeping abreast of market dynamics with regards to operator product and consumer strategies.
  • Provide critical decision making information to (M)forma product and sales teams regarding operator trends, subscriber data and growth.
  • Drive product development by understanding and passionately advocating customer requirements, defining feature sets, and developing and communicating product requirements.
  • Set and monitor schedules and manage, in dynamic interactions with your team, the product through successful release and removes roadblocks to progress.
  • Work with strategy and acquisitions groups to source complementary technologies/products/brands in the market space and integrate acquired technologies into the product line.
  • Specify marketing requirements for future products by conducting market research and through on-going dialogue with and visits to customers and partners.
  • Deliver quality materials to develop marketing content such as white papers, data sheets, and demonstrations.
  • Work with corporate marketing and global sales teams to develop structured marketing plans.
  • Lead and manage technical and marketing plans with key business partners.
  • Communicate, with passion and conviction, product information throughout the company and to partners and customers.
  • Collaborate actively and effectively with multiple teams to define product release themes and feature sets.
  • Communicate, with impact, product information throughout the company and to customers, including product training and product demonstrations for sales.
  • Act as a dynamic spokesperson for the product and the company, developing rapport with global press and analysts.
  • Lead in the definition of the product roadmap, to achieve the company strategy as part of a cross-functional product planning team.
  • Provide tactical product management support and communicate with customers and internal sales, consulting, and support organizations to gather customer feedback and resolve product issues.

    Requirements:

    • M.B.A. degree or equivalent.
    • Minimum of seven years’ experience in a product management position with a device manufacturer or with a software company supplying products to the wireless data marketplace.
    • Proven track record in the development and implementation of mobile software product strategies.
    • roven track record launching and delivering products to leading operators.
    • A keen, flexible, and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Solid background in software development processes.
    • Demonstrable international experience.
    • Desire and ability to lead, take a stand or advocate a feature, and present market facts and data to back up your position.
    • Aspiration, ambition, and vision to be applied to (M)forma products as well as your career.
    • Ability and desire to engage and interact, at a high degree of effectiveness, with multidiscipline teams.
    • Sound knowledge of mobile technologies, especially handset capabilities and mobile content provisioning practices, worldwide.
