Industry Moves: Jennings To Head Instream; Bressler Moves To Thomas H. Lee Partners; Greenfield L

Bill Jennings joins Lightningcast’s Instream broadband video ad network as Chief Revenue Officer. Most recently, Jennings was VP-New Media and Business Development for A&E Television Networks, one of the networks that uses Lightningcast’s video advertising program.

Instream is also adding two salespeople: Chris Coda to lead sales in the Southeast/Mid-Atlantic and Steve Crane in the Midwest. Coda comes from Weatherbug; Crane has worked for Adweek, Engage Media and The Chicago Tribune.

– Retired Viacom SVP and CFO Richard Bressler is joining Boston-based private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners as a managing director; he will head the Strategic Resources Group, which helps advise the managements of companies the firm owns. Prior to Viacom, Bressler was at Time Warner for 13 years, including a stint as CEO of AOL Time Warner Investments. He is chairman of the Warner Music audit committee; Thomas Lee is a major WMG investor. The firm is reported to part of the pack bidding for Knight-Ridder.Press release | NYT.
