Industry Moves: Goldfine Joins Network Live; M. Hirschorn Upped At VH1

Michael Goldfine signs on with Network Live, the joint venture between AOL, XM and AEG, as VP-production and programming. He’ll oversee all creative development and production — including ensuring that productions work across platforms. The press release offers a little Hollywood speak, stresing that Goldfine will be hearing pitches. He spent the last three years as senior producer and correspondent for Extra; his eclectic resume includes producing the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City for NBC.

– From EIC, Inside.com to the person in charge of Tori Spelling’s destiny … Seriously, Michael Hirschorn has been at VH1 for several years (a reminder of how long it’s been since Inside went poof) and has been promoted at VH1 to EVP-Original Programming and Production. He’s now responsible for all current VH1 original programming and development, music development, celebrity talent development and the new push into scripted series. He continues to report to Brian Graden, president-entertainment, MTV Music Networks Group.
