NICKELODEON ONLINE: Director of Digital Games Marketing, NYC

nicklogo1.gif The Director of Digital Games Marketing for Nickelodeon Online will be responsible for user acquisition and user retention promotions that will increase sales of paid digital games. He/she will initiate, plan, implement and execute a range of marketing programs to increase the reach and lifetime value of the digital games consumers.

Responsibilities:

– Increase sales of paid digital games through a set of campaigns, promotions and other marketing activities.

– Create a product marketing plan for new game titles.

– Work closely with Nickelodeon’s divisions such as magazine, consumer products and others to execute and implement promotional campaigns

– Manage online user acquisition campaigns such as search engine marketing, affiliate program, etc. through working with external agencies

– Manage the production of marketing materials such as TV spots, newsletters, print ads and banner ads.

– Plan and manage database marketing for existing customers, promoting various digital goods.

– Maintain strong internal relationships with creative, promotions, advertising sales, distribution and programming departments

– Work closely with Nick Online to properly promote and integrate paid games offering

– Plan and implement tracking mechanism to monitor commerce and promotions performance across Nickelodeon’s web properties. Adjust marketing tactics to maximize performance and recommend changes as required.

Required Qualification/Skills:

– Minimum 5 years proven experience in online direct marketing, preferably in the games or digital software segments.

– Strong knowledge of database management, segmentation, test design, and program evaluation in both online and offline environments
– Superior project management skills, self-directed and results oriented; skilled at both planning and hands-on execution

– Strong familiarity with newsletters, online ads and other online promotions.

– Experience in managing online media buy budgets and affiliate programs

– Experience managing client and partners relations

– Outstanding team leadership and interpersonal communications skills

– Background in online games- an advantage
