– Spearhead and manage all aspects of Nickelodeon Networks wireless business in the U.S.
– Develop and manage partnerships with wireless carriers and form partnerships with carrier product groups to secure placement/positioning for Nickelodeon Networks branded content
– Work with carrier product teams to provide ongoing overview on Nickelodeon Networks’ brands, franchises and new content opportunities
– Oversee content and application development of Nickelodeon Networks branded content
– Develop and manage relationships with 3rd-party publishers and developers to develop branded content and applications
– Work with ad sales and promotions marketing to develop integrated programs for clients that leverage Nickelodeon Networks media channels with branded content
– Identify areas of opportunities for Nickelodeon Networks to distribute its content and products through new channels of distribution including direct to consumer media channels (i.e. Nickelodeon Online) as well as indirect channels (i.e. branded boutique storefronts)
– Have in depth knowledge of U.S. wireless industry including understanding carrier content marketplace, data strategies/plans, and identifying areas of opportunity for Nickelodeon Networks in the wireless space
– Develop business plans and financial models in support of recommended new wireless business initiatives
– Partner and establish collaborative relationships with multiple Nickelodeon and MTVN divisions including Programming, Online, Digital Media, Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, Promotions Marketing, Strategy/Business Development, Consumer Products and Licensing, Technology, and Research in order to analyze and facilitate potential business opportunities
Required Qualification/Skills:
– Minimum 5 years experience in the media industry with a proven track record of developing and managing a digital media business
– Strong track record of building and managing new businesses and 3rd-party partnerships
– Proven ability to work collaboratively across internal functional departments
– Strong analytical /strategic thinker and creative problem solver
– Strong presentation and oral communication skills
– Strong interpersonal capabilities
– Digital media/interactive entertainment experience a plus
– Experience in the wireless industry with a specific focus on developing and managing relationships with carriers, publishers and developers a plus
– BA/BS required, MBA a plus
