Develop and/or collaborate on strategic marketing & promotional plans supporting Comedy Central branded businesses:

- Comedy Central Digital Media

—- CC.com/Broadband

—- Partner with Marketing Manager on strategies to drive traffic

Comedy Central Wireless

—- Develop and execute promotional and marketing strategies to generate subscriptions and overall business growth

—- Ensure that network-based tune-in priority messages are integrated within appropriate wireless products and applications.

—- Develop and implement ongoing processes for wireless marketing initiatives

– New digital media business initiatives

—- Assess marketing & promotional opportunities relating to new digital media partnerships.

- Comedy Central Home Entertainment & Consumer Products

– Liaise with CP group to develop fully integrated marketing and promotional plans that support each franchise.

—- Develop and execute cross-promotional opportunities that integrate all platforms to support priority businesses

—- Collaborate with Consumer Products retail group to maximize retail-based cross-promotional opportunities.

—- Determine if consumer-product partnerships can be developed with national advertisers and/or MSO partners.

– Partner with Director of Marketing & Advertising on Consumer Products related marketing plans and creative needs.

- Comedy Central Records

– Develop marketing recommendations to support the sales objectives of Records.

– Explore cross-promotional opportunities with Consumer Products retail group and network to promote priority titles.

Analysis and reporting

- Comedy Central Digital Media

– Provide ongoing updates and POV’s on web-traffic, wireless usage and other relevant business trends relating to our digital media businesses

– Provide marketing-based strategic insights and recommendations.

- Comedy Central Consumer Products

– Provide on-going updates on product sales & marketing activity

Provide an ongoing Comedy Central marketing point-of-view and voice for all brand-based lines of business.

Required Qualifications / Skills

- Minimum eight years marketing experience within the Entertainment based digital media and/or Consumer Products businesses.

– A passion for and commitment to entertainment based consumer products and digital media businesses.

- The individual must be highly knowledgeable of the digital media space, including online and wireless.

- Solid marketing and strategic planning experience is required.

– Experience in positioning new products and brand extensions preferred.

– Proven success as an innovative, creative and strategic thinker with strong people management, brand building and integrated marketing skills.

– A proven ability to develop, plan and execute innovative marketing strategies.

- The individual must be highly proactive. Relationship & consensus building and strong leadership skills are a must.

- Strong organizational skills that are inclusive of differing agendas and priorities.

– Expertise in developing and implementing processes to manage and implement the work of multiple groups.

- Persuasive presentation skills / effective oral and written skills

- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to proactively make things happen

- A flexible, adaptive and inclusive work style.
