CIOL: India’s state-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to invest Rs. 19,400 crore ($4.3 billion) in the next financial year. The investment would be mainly for the expansion of its mobile and broadband services. BSNL officials confirmed that the investment plan has been finalized but the planning commission is yet to approve it. The official said that due to massive competition in the field of mobile and broadband services, BSNL would now concentrate on expansion of its services.
