Live at the CES 2006

Like 120,000 other people I am now in Las Vegas and getting immersed in the mobile technology news and events swirling throughout the Vegas strip. I flew in yesterday and survived the madness at the Vegas airport with cabs and shuttle buses in very short supply. I eventually high-jacked a limo and arrived at the Stardust Hotel in style, and the rest of the day was spent in the company of several MS MVPs and a meeting with a VC partner trying to find out what will be the next big thing (NBT) in mobile technology. Of course we spent the evening watching the best college football game I have ever seen and yelled ourselves hoarse right down to the game stealing touchdown in the last few seconds of the game to crown the University of Texas Longhorns as national champions.

Today I will be covering the entire convention floor, at least as much of it as I can in one day. I am attending one press event at lunch which showcases upcoming technology and devices and tonight I will be sitting down one on one with DualCor Technologies’ President and CEO Steve Hanley to discuss the cPC that has been getting a lot of attention of late. Might even podcast that one.
