Content manager needed to oversee development of production schedule, writing standards, deployment of repurposed content and analysis of key web metrics for site usage. WorkshopLive is an online music education learning tool. Core curriculum built from more than 600+ QuickTime custom guitar and keyboard lessons. More content tools in development focusing on assessment, interactivity and Flash based programming.
The Content Manager will be responsible for the following:
1. Oversee, plan and publish all text, audio and video content outside of lesson curriculum planning including SEO landing pages and blog
2. Administration of all content relationships through partners, freelance and in-house staff
3. Manage promotional relationships including shared content agreements, link strategies and all permissions needed to publish licensed content
4. Management of content approval process and functionality of Content Management System
5. Search Engine Optimization deployment throughout site
6. Assist in Web Development and maintenance as needed
7. Provide final quality assurance prior to content being published
8. Monitor workflows to ensure production schedules are being met
9. Evaluate effectiveness of text, audio and video content for continuous optimization and improvement
– 2-3 years of media production experience
– 2 + years of interactive media experience
– Strong text and graphic editing skills including any web based software like Flash or Photoshop
