Now it gets interesting: Telecom tower company Crown Castle International has renamed its mobile TV subsidiary as Modeo and said at CES that by 2007 it would launch mobile TV commercial services in 30 of the largest markets across the U.S. this year based on the DVB-H standard.
Modeo mentioned New York City as one of the early areas that would get the initial service during 2006, as well as Pittsburgh where it has been trialling the technology since early last year. Tons more info here…
