Santa Clara, CA-based digital editions software company (it is calling itself an XML automation technologies company these days) Olive Software has raised $9 million in venture funding, led by Pitango Venture Capital. Existing investor Sequoia Capital also participated.
Olive’s software is used for electronic/digital editions of magazines and newspapers…it has clients like Time Inc. and Hearst Magazines, WaPo, Knight Ridder Newspapers, and others.
