Motorola and Shanda, the largest online game operator in China, are planning the launch of a co-branded gaming mobile phone for the Chinese market, says this story, quoting sources.
Shanda will supply content for the Moto handset, and will have co-brading for both companies. Shanda acquired Beijing-based mobile phone game developer Digital-Red Mobile Software in early 2004 and thus has the assets for developing content that could be used in the new handset produced with Motorola.
