MSN India and NDTV Media Announces Media Sales Tie-Up; Moves To Time-Band Advertising And Desktop TV

News Release: We broke this news to you last week (Read MSN India To Move To Time-Slot Base Advertising; NDTV To Sell MSN Inventory).
Now the official announcement is out. MSN India and NDTV Media today declared that they have struck an advertising tie-up. NDTV Media, leading TV channel group NDTV Ltd’s media marketing and consulting arm, will now represent MSN India to clients and advertisers across the country. MSN India has also changed its rate card system to a time-slot one as against the CPM. MSN India has also launched Desktop TV today. Desktop TV will allow advertisers to run their Television campaign on MSN India Home page without making any changes to their television commercial.
As part of the tie-up, NDTV Media will take the responsibility of selling MSN properties like MSN.co.in, MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, MSN Spaces, MSN Search and so on. The other most important thing is MSN has changed its rate card and advertising methodology, as we had said in our story.
