Record label EMI has expanded its online music store The Raft to include mobile. “Mobile users can visit wap.the-raft.com or text ‘GO RAFT’ to 85080 (free text from all UK networks) to browse a range of official, artist approved content tailored for mobile.”
The technology uses Bango’s Txt Trigge technology, and users can pay on their phone bill, with credit/debit card or PayPal. Obviously this isn’t going to set the music sale world on fire but any record label website should have mobile capabilities…
