The Mobile Marketing Association has released its first set of guidelines for mobile Web advertising, hoping to establish standard ad placements for the nascent medium and add legitimacy to mobile advertising. The guidelines — developed by the organization’s Ad Standards Committee — cover text ads, banner ads and e-mail ads.
