OK, so it’s obvious that 3G users would use more advanced content, but now there are some statistics to back it up.

The Telephia U.K. 3G Report also showed that 3G subscribers spend an average of 43 pounds (US$76) per month on voice and data services, around 14 pounds ($25) more than non-3G subscribers. “Furthermore, 3G users who are active on their operator’s portal spend 2 pounds ($4) more per month on data services than 3G users who conduct all of their data activity on off-portal sites.”
