The Online Publishing Association’s loss is the New York Times Company’s gain … Michael Zimbalist, who has held a variety of positions at OPA since joining the staff in 2001, leaves his post as president for the newly created position of VP- reearch & development operations. He’ll report directly to Martin Nisenholtz, SVP-digital operations, as he leads the development and management of the new R&D group.
