
PureVideo, a new online video portal, is seeking a Marketing Manager
Job Description:
Market Insight & Marketing Strategy: Develop a thorough understanding of the target market for PureVideo advertising products and use that knowledge in defining and developing marketing strategies and collaborating with Product Management in order to successfully generate customers and revenue momentum for the business.
Marketing Program Development & Execution: Drive and define marketing strategy, programs and promotions to raise awareness of product solutions and meet online advertiser acquisition goals for online sign-up. Define key success factors and performance metrics for marketing programs and analyze results accordingly.
Market Segmentation & Messaging: Based on knowledge of PureVideo’s customers and target market, work closely with Product Management and Sales on identifying key prospects and channels, market-specific value propositions, key messages, and account approach strategies.
Defining Customer Needs: Work with Product Management and Technology in translating business solution requirements into new product features and components with a goal of generating revenue and extending PureVideoss position as a leader in advertising and marketing services.
Requirements
– Demonstrated success in formulating and executing marketing programs, including forecasting, strategies and tactics, targeted to small businesses and/or advertisers
– Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing the effectiveness of marketing programs on key metrics (ROI, c ustomer acquisition and retention, etc.)Perform Online Competitive Intelligence
– Experience selling or marketing in Local Advertising, Web Search, Online Advertising, or Performance Marketing
– Specific experience launching customer acquisition and development programs
– Excellent communications skills, creative problem solving skills, ability to work effectively in cross functional groups
– Manage Research Services (Media Metrics, Forrester, ComScore, etc.)
– Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, extremely proactive with a strong bias for action
– Provide creative direction around marketing campaigns and in-site product promotion.
Skills
– 1-3 years online marketing experience
– 1 year Search Engine Marketing experience for significant website or network
– Work with/for a major internet media brand
– Knowledge of common Ad Servers and Ad Networks
– Experience with basic HTML
– Knowledge of common web technologies and media streaming
– BS/BA required
– Marketing Degree preferred but not required.
