EMI is expanding a partnership with T-Mobile that will make about 200 songs from thousands of artists “available for download to mobile phones across the U.K. and the European continent”. The deal includes some biggies (Coldplay, Gorillaz and Joss Stone are mentioned) and the content will include full tracks as well as video clips and ringtones. Variety thinks the deal will be closely watched by the US industry as “a key test of the flexibility of the wireless music market”…
