Somehow this week in December is a heavy site/service relaunch week..some of them we mentioned in some version before.
– Rhapsody.com: As we wrote in the note yesterday, RNWK has relaunched its music service as an online-resident one, in addition to a dedicated client…the site Rhapsody.com has been relaunched as a music destination site…with direct links to songs.
– MTV.co.uk: In UK, MTV has unveiled a new consumer site and Wap service, which gives fans access to behind-the-scenes programming. MTV viewers can visit MTV.co.uk to research when and on what channel their favourite artists will appear. It also includes updated celebrity news and features.
– Audible.com: This one is still under the radar, but Audible has relaunched its site with some major retooling of the system and even some new pricing options…looks very nice..hopefully the UI and usability issues have been taken care of.
– Inform.com: Inform.com, the news aggregation site which launched in beta October to some scathing reviews, has listened and incorporated most of them in the new version launched today…it has also added audio and video to the site.
– FHM USA: Emap’s FHM magazine has relaunched its U.S. site, FHMUS.com, placing a heavy emphasis on original content (read blogs)…the site’s centerpiece will be “Big Eye on the Web,” which will aggregate 20 to 40 different links each day from around the Web.
– FIFA World Cup: Yahoo, which has a contract with FIFA to maintain the official World Cup soccer site, has relaunched the site, with new original content and more languages.
