Kuju Wireless Publishing, the specialist mobile game publishing division of Kuju Entertainment — established in 2004 in a bid to clearly distinguish between Kuju’s mobile game publishing activities and its PC/console development group– has been acquired by mobile game publisher Finesse Publishing Group and will shortly be re-branded as Finesse Mobile.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Kevin Holloway, the former managing director of KWP will join Finesse as its new CEO, and “Kuju will continue to develop mobile games, wholly retaining its mobile phone game development group, which has operated as one of Kuju Entertainment’s autonomous studios since 2000″.
So if I understand the deal right, Kuju will continue to develope mobile games with the same game development studio but the publishing part of the operation has been sold to Finesse.
