Jamster is planning to sell full-track music, although whether that will be on a pay-per-download program or its notorious subscription service isn’t in the press release.
It’s an obvious move for Jamster to expand its mobile content offering, especially considering the high churn rate the company experienced for its subscription service. Music subscription services are becoming common, and if Jamster offeres full-tracks on a subscription basis it may reduce churn.
Jamster is reviewing the Melodeo MobilDRM, which handles either downloads or subscription and has the approval of the four major music labels.
