Over 90,000 people registered for the Push The Button competition, which involved selecting a number on a keypad to choose one of 9 squares in a grid. If the frigate or a submarine was located the person moved to the next round…if not, they didn’t. A reasonably straightforward system, with the attraction of a unique prize.
